The Kendall-Grundy Farm Bureau is currently accepting applications for the position of Programming and Membership Coordinator, located in Morris, IL.
Responsibilities include assisting the manager in tasks including membership acquisition and retention, working with Farm Bureau programs and committees, compiling and writing press releases and other correspondences, and assisting in all aspects of office and building operation. This role may require attendance at evening or weekend events when needed.
Qualified candidates will possess good verbal and written communication skills, technology skills, good multitasking and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Experience in a related role encouraged and background in agriculture preferred.
This position will report to the Farm Bureau Manager, be administratively responsible to, and will be supervised/directed by the Manager.

Essential Functions and Performance Areas
This individual will:
- Provide direct staff support for assigned programs.
- Communicate with committee members, volunteers, and other staff to execute successful programing
- Work with the IFB marketing team to develop materials for programs.
- Represent the Farm Bureau at meetings and official functions.
- Be familiar with member benefits
- Be administratively responsible for the smooth operations of all dues collection procedures and will be expected to maintain all membership records as per county policies and procedures and as per operational procedures of the IAA and County Farm Bureau.
- Maintain membership records including communication and other useful data
- Work with all affiliated company employees and/or independent contractors to assist them with their needs for membership information and other membership related items at the approval of the Farm Bureau Manager.
- Assist with all membership drives and campaigns to increase membership, reduce back door loss of members and to insure proper membership acquisition and maintenance in the county.
- Perform all typing, filing and clerical duties as assigned by the Farm Bureau Manager and in accordance with this job description.
- Assist the manager in electronic and print mass communication with members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
