Scholarship Recipients!
Stephanie Bernhard is the daughter of Robert and Rose Bernhard. Stephanie plans to attend Joliet Junior College to study Social Work. She will receive a $750 general scholarship from Grundy County Farm Bureau Foundation.
Case Biros , the son of Scott and Tiffany Biros from Mazon, plans to attend the University of Illinois next fall, where he will major in Nuclear, Plasma, and Radiological Engineering. He will receive a $500 general scholarship from Grundy County Farm Bureau Foundation.
Mason Bols is the son of Dave and Becca Bols of Morris. Mason plans to study Agriculture at Joliet Junior college this fall. He will receive a $750 general scholarship from Grundy County Farm Bureau Foundation.
Ethan Brockman, the son of Jason and Miranda Brockman from Verona, is attending Illinois State University where he is majoring in Agribusiness. He will receive a $1,000 general scholarship from Grundy County Farm Bureau Foundation.
Colin Collet is the son of John and Ann Collet of Verona. Colin plans to attend UW-Platteville where he will study Agricultural Systems Technology. Colin will receive a $750 general scholarship from Grundy County Farm Bureau Foundation.
Jordan Countryman is the daughter of Rebecca & Kevin Countryman. Jordan attends Joliet Junior College studying Agriculture. Jordan will receive the $1,000 Young Leaders Scholarship.
Felicity Emmerich is the daughter of Joe and Kirstin Emmerich of Morris. Felicity plans to attend St. Ambrose University to study Biology on a Pre-Med pathway. Felicity will receive a $500 general scholarship from Grundy County Farm Bureau Foundation.
Carson Halpin, the daughter of Christopher and Julie Halpin of South Wilmington, recently graduated from Gardner attends Southern Illinois University majoring in Psychology. She will receive a $750 general scholarship from Grundy County Farm Bureau Foundation.
Rachel Heap, the daughter of Deron and Stephanie Heap from Morris, attends Wisconsin-River Falls where she majors in Animal Science. She will receive a $750 general Scholarship from Grundy County Farm Bureau Foundation.
Clara McPherson is the daughter of Brenda and Jeremy McPherson. Clara plans to attend Murray State University to study Nursing. She will receive a $500 general Scholarship from Grundy County Farm Bureau Foundation.
Nolan O’Keefe, the son of Tim and Marla O’Keefe of Coal City, attends East Tennessee State University and majors in Marketing Analytics. He will receive a $500 general Scholarship from Grundy County Farm Bureau Foundation.
Christopher Poyner is the son of Christopher and Jennifer Poyner. Christopher will attend the University of Illinois where he will study Electrical Engineering. He will receive a $500 general Scholarship from Grundy County Farm Bureau Foundation.
Joshua Ritchie is the son of Brian and Stacy Ritchie. Joshua will attend Utah Tech University where he will study Media Production. He will receive a $500 general Scholarship from Grundy County Farm Bureau Foundation.
Bryce Roe is the son of Brian and Traci Roe. Bryce will attend Joliet Junior College where he will study Ag Business Management. He will receive a $1,000 Robert Johnson Memorial Scholarship.

Jenna Siegel, the daughter of Jim and Michelle Siegel of Morris, attends Joliet Junior College, majoring in Agribusiness with a minor in Animal Science. She will receive a $750 scholarship from Grundy County Farm Bureau Foundation.
Emma Smith, the daughter of Dave Smith and Laurelda Maier-Lorntz, will attends Illinois State University majoring in in Animal Science. She will receive a $1,200 scholarship from Grundy County Farm Bureau Foundation.
Sadie Tresouthick, the daughter James and Wendy Tresouthick, attends Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College studying Ranch Management. She will receive a $750 scholarship from Grundy County Farm Bureau Foundation.
Harleigh Varland the daughter of Matthew Varland and Patience Miller from Seneca, will attend Illinois Valley Community College, majoring in Ag Business. She will receive a $1,000 general scholarship from Grundy County Farm Bureau Foundation.
Maveric Varland, the son of Matthew Varland and Patience Miller from Seneca, attends the University of Illinois majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He will receive a $500 general scholarship from Grundy County Farm Bureau Foundation.

Are you a high school senior, college student, or adult learner pursuing education in an agriculture or ag-related career? Consider applying for the 2024 GCFB Foundation Scholarship! Applications are due to the Kendall-Grundy Farm Bureau office by March 15th 2024. This year we are using an online form for submittal below you will find an Information Letter, a PDF Copy of the Application (to use as a guide before submitting your completed application), and a link to the Form to Submit your Application. The form will not save answers if closed without saving a draft. Because of this we suggest using the copy of the application below to formulate answers prior to submittal. |
